Statement of Faith
What We Believe
Holy Temple of God Ministry is a Christ-centered ministry founded on the authority of the Holy Scriptures. Our faith and ministry are guided by the teachings of the Bible and our commitment to proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The Holy Scriptures
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the authoritative foundation for Christian faith, doctrine, and life. We seek to faithfully teach and apply God’s Word in our personal lives and ministry.
One True God
We believe in one living and sovereign God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—three Persons in one God.
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully divine and fully human. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, sacrificial death on the cross, bodily resurrection, ascension, and His promised return.
Salvation
We believe salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ. Through repentance and faith, people are reconciled to God and receive forgiveness and new life in Christ.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is God, who convicts people of sin, brings new birth, lives within believers, empowers Christian living, and equips God’s people for ministry and service.
The Church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, made up of all true believers in Jesus Christ. The Church is called to worship God, proclaim the Gospel, make disciples, care for people, and serve as a witness of Christ’s love in the world.
Baptism
We believe baptism is an important act of obedience and a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ. It identifies the believer with Christ and represents the believer’s new life through faith.
Holy Communion
We believe in the importance of Holy Communion as a meaningful remembrance of Jesus Christ, His sacrifice, and the covenant established through His death and resurrection.
Prayer and Worship
We believe prayer and worship are essential expressions of a believer’s relationship with God. We encourage believers to seek God continually through prayer, worship, Scripture, fellowship, and obedience.
Christian Life
We believe followers of Jesus Christ are called to live lives characterized by holiness, love, humility, forgiveness, integrity, compassion, and service. Our faith should be demonstrated through both words and actions.
The Great Commission
We believe every believer and every local church has a responsibility to participate in the Great Commission—to proclaim the Gospel, make disciples, and help people grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
The Return of Christ
We believe Jesus Christ will return according to God’s promise. We look forward with hope to the fulfillment of God’s purposes and the eternal reign of Christ.
Our Commitment
Our Statement of Faith represents the biblical convictions that guide Holy Temple of God Ministry. We seek to remain faithful to Scripture, centered on Christ, dependent upon the Holy Spirit, and committed to serving people with truth, grace, and love.
